Crowe-nyism

Ballad Health has a service region that is geographically the size of New Jersey. They own almost every hospital and over 90% of inpatient care. How was this  medical monopoly legally created? The scary part is that a majority of states in the country have the existing legislation to make it happen.
CORRECTION: Bella’s weight was 1 pound 4.5 ounces with tubing, etc at birth.

Great podcast. I learned so much. I wonder if Ballad is the ones that bought our small hospital in Lawrence County Tennessee? We do not have NICU, Cardiac unit or much of nothing. VA as well as ChampVA has red flagged this hospital and will not pay for any services done at this hospital. I wouldn’t take one of my animals to this hospital. I trust the veterinarians over this hospital even for my health care needs.
